Peaches, Rain & The Buddy System

This is what I did was raining out (in buckets) and I had promised Ralph and Ross, our Son-in-Law, some peach jam. I couldn't be outside playing with the sheep and the peaches were calling my name.

As I made the jam, I keep trying to think of why I still did this. After all, it's just the two of us here - not counting the animals - and I could just as easily buy the jam instead of making it. The only answer I could come up with is that it's a Labor of Love. The pleasure I derive from it is not the peach jam itself, but the looks on the men in my life who love peach jam. So, this one's for you, Guys!

And for those who are wondering...Yes, Colin is doing just fine! He's feeling great and was outside palying in the fifteen minute break we got in the rain this afternoon...when his "Buddy" came home. Here's the two of them together...Now I just have to figure out how to get Ross' jam to New Zealand! ;)

So did you make a PIE too???
I'm glad Collin is doing so well! No more walking on the joint? That was a quick recovery. Count yourself as lucky if that's the worst mistake you ever make with your sheep...

Look at that JAM - yum - Maybe you should hand deliver it to your son-in-law...Wish I lived closer - I'd come over for a piece of toast & JAM :-)

That Collin is just about the cutest little guy. Looks like he's a snuggler. T.

Yes, Nancy...PIE, too! Wanna come over for a piece? You, too, Tina! (I would even make another one just for us!) Yum!
